VNS Prep ‘History’s Mysteries Challenge’

For the second year at Visiting Nurse Services Prep, the students were ready and eager to learn about their history. The History’s Mysteries Challenge, facilitated by Greg Carter, the president of the Rockaway Sports Association, ended its first round with four more winners. The weekly educational workshops at VNS Prep continues with the adolescents at this innovative alternative high school, enthusiastically learning about American and world history, geography, government, and more as they participate in fun-filled competitions.

VNS Prep is an alternative high school class located in the Visiting Nurse Service Early Head Start Center in Rockaway Beach. This program is part of Offsite Educational Services of the NYC Department of Education.
