The coaches called Michael Mure’s number and he ran a power sweep for his 5th TD of the season and an early lead. The Defense battled Plainview for the rest of the game but Plainview’s talented runners were able to score 2 TD’s to tie the game. The Shamrocks tried to score late in the game but were stalled and Plainview got the ball back with 1 minute left in the game. The coaches called a quick timeout firing up their defense. Brian Feimer broke through the line to stop Plainview’s 1st play leaving only 10 seconds left in the game. On the last play Plainview ran a power sweep but the Shamrocks were ready as they converged on Plainview’s lone runner, Jordan Jessup, and the rest of the defense gang tackled him to end the game.

The Shamrocks finished a fine season holding their Turkey Bowl Trophy and wearing their Turkey Bowl medals as family, coaches and friends watched them smiling after a tough rewarding game. They worked as a team all season and all are looking forward to next season. GO SHAMROCKS!!
