Cantor To Perform At West End Temple Nov. 4
Wolff, the director of Student Placement and a part-time faculty member of the School of Sacred Music at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in New York, also served as director of the Department of Synagogue Music of the Union for Reform Judaism.
Wolff was a cantor at Temple Shalom in Succasunna, New Jersey, Temple Beth Chaverim in Mahwah, New Jersey, and the Liberal Jewish Congregation in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
Wolff, a native of The Netherlands, holds a degree in flute from the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. She has performed and recorded throughout Europe as a member of various chamber ensembles, and was the first woman from Europe to be invested as a cantor.
Her performance on Friday evening will include Liturgical music, and an Oneg Shabbat will conclude the occasion.
