On Saturday, October 15, 2005, 4 exciting flag football games were played at O’Donahue Park at Beach 17th Street. Sorrentino Recreation Center representing the borough of Queens, has a total of eight (8) teams, divided into two (2) divisions. Games continue on October 22, 2005 beginning at 10 a.m. at O’Donahue Park, Beach 17th Street.

4 teams in the 8-11 year old division and 4 teams in the 12-14 years old division for a total of 96 players along with 5 head coaches and 8 assistant coaches. The flag football 2005 tournament is a citi-wide tournament. The four teams in the 8-11 years old division are as follows:

G-Way – Head Coach / John Middleton-Team Record / 2 – 0 with wins over: Sorrentino (A) 72-14 and Team Deuce 18-12.

Sorrentino (B) – Head Coach / Rob Lindo-Team Record / 2 – 0 with wins over: Team Deuce 50-2 and Sorrentino (A) 40-32

Sorrentino (A) – Head Coach / Stan Brown-Team Record/ 0–2 with losses to: G-Way 72-14 and Sorrentino (B) 40-32.

Team Deuce – Head Coach / Isaac Parsee. Team Record / 0 – 2 with losses to: Sorrentino (B) 50-20 and G-Way 18-12.

The four (4) teams in the 12-14 year old division are as follows:

Sorrentino (B) – Head Coach / Robert Lindo Team Record / 2 – 0 with wins over: Team Deuce 60-26 and Sorrentino (A) 42-6

G-Way – Head Coach / John Middleton. Team Record / 2 – 0 with wins over: Sorrentino (A) 28-20 and Team Deuce 48-6.

Sorrentino (A) – Head Coach/ Selena Samuels Team Record / 0 – 2.

with losses to:G-Way 28-20 and Sorrentino (B) 42 – 6.

Team Deuce – Head Coach / Isaac Parsee Team Record / 0 – 2 with losses to: Sorrentino (B) 60 – 26 and G-Way 48 – 6.
