For a decade, they shared a sound stage on “The Carol Burnett Show.” Now, Tim Conway and Harvey Korman are sharing a stage near you at the North Fork Theatre at Westbury as part of their box office smash tour “Together Again.” The show features a reprise of Conway & Korman in their classic characters including Conway’s Old Man with Korman as the impatient traveler, as well as Conway’s golf pro Dorf with Korman as the interviewer. “Together Again” brings back a special time in television featuring the pure, unadulterated entertainment of the variety-show era with new additions and stand-up routines you don’t want to miss. The duo is joined by Louise DuArt, an impressionist whose gallery of celebrity impersonations includes everyone from Barbara Walters and Barbara Streisand to George Burns and Joan Rivers.
Tim Conway was a regular on “The Steve Allen Show,” before starring in the popular ‘60’s sitcom “McHale’s Navy.” He eventually became a regular performer on “The Carol Burnett Show” earning five Emmy Awards. He was a sought after guest performer, appearing on virtually every national TV variety show for the next 20 years and received his star on Hollywood’s “Walk of Fame” in 1989. He is equally accomplished in theater and film and has recently found a welcome market in home video with his successful character “Dorf.” In addition to six “Dorf” videotapes, Conway has combined comedy forces with Harvey Korman to produce the video “Tim and Harvey in the Great Outdoor”.
Harvey Korman has performed for popular television shows such as “The Danny Kaye Show,” “The Flintstones” and his own variety show, “The Harvey Korman Show”. A decade long regular on “The Carol Burnett Show”, Korman won four Emmy Awards and a Golden Globe. He also went on to write, produce and star in the hit sitcom “Mama’s Family.” Korman’s movie career includes starring roles in several Mel Brooks’ hit films: “High Anxiety”, “Blazing Saddles”, and “History of the World Part I”.
