Kearney Students Score High Marks In Latin

Seventy-eight Bishop Kearney High School students received awards for their outstanding performances on the National Latin Examination.

Two freshmen, Christina Kennedy and Christina Cianflone, scored perfect papers. Thirty-three students received gold summa cum laude certificates, 17 received the silver maxima cum laude, 17 were awarded magna cum laude, and 11 attained cum laude certificates.

Among these students were many Rockaway residents in Kearney’s Honors Program.
