Hurricane Katrina Fundraising At BHYC

The Belle Harbor Yacht Club ended its summer season with a get together and fundraiser for Hurricane Katrina. Kristin Carey, Emma Collins, and Marina Cregan sold crafts and baked goods to raise money for hurricane victims. They also sold raffle tickets for prizes that were donated by Victor M. Re, Esq. and Kevin Barrett. The three girls are St. Francis de Sales third and fourth graders, and raised over $250. The money was given to the Graybeards to help with their hurricane efforts.
