About 125 volunteers participated in the Fourth Annual Beach Cleanup at PS/MS 43 on Beach 29 Street in Far Rockaway on Saturday, September 17. Students, staff and families joined together to collect over 3,000 pounds of garbage.

Volunteers worked in teams, gathering data on each and every item they collected, and the information will be sent to the American Littoral Society, where the school, as part of the math program, will analyze the data.
