St. Francis DeSales Second Grade Girls Do Their Part In Raising Funds For Katrina


On Saturday, after a hard fought intra-squad scrimmage, the second grade SFDS Girls soccer team got active in another important area by collecting money for the victims of Hurricane Katrina. The girls raised several hundred dollars, which was donated directly to the Red Cross Relief Fund. A coach for the SFDS girls said that the fall season begins next weekend and they will be fielding two sides, thanks to the many new players who have joined our team this season.
