Weiner Makes Campaign Stop In Broad Channel


Congressman Anthony Weiner, who is running for Mayor in the upcoming September 13 Democratic primary election, made a campaign stop on Noel Road in Broad Channel on Wednesday morning. The stop was part of the second day of Weiner’s citywide “School Bus” tour. He called Broad Channel “The Little Community That Could” and praised both its St. Virgilius parochial school and its volunteer fire department.
