Distracted Driver Has Ramp Rollover

Two Brooklyn women went for a wild ride on the northbound onramp of the Cross Bay Bridge Monday morning when the driver grazed the curved cement railing then overcorrected and flipped the car over. Police said Lyllyette Wilder, 38, was traveling at an “imprudent rate of speed” when she turned to speak to her daughter, Christina Wilder, 18, and failed to safely negotiate the curve. “Apparently she wasn’t paying attention,” a police source said. Both women were taken to St. John’s Episcopal Hospital for observation; one of them suffered minor injuries while the other, who is pregnant, underwent observation, said a source.
