SJEH Stresses The Importance Of Safety


The importance of safety was the focus of the Patient Safety Zone Fair at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital on Wednesday, July 20, 2005. The event was held for the Hospital’s staff on the evening shift to raise awareness of the National Patient Safety Goals set by the Joint Commission for the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. The Patient Safety Goals address such issues as look-a-like, sound-a-like drugs, reducing the risk of hospital-acquired infections, and more.
