Tribute Park Work Heats Up On Hot Holiday Weekend


Denis Maloney and his crew from Malbro Construction in Breezy Point pour concrete for the base of the mosaic designed by local artist Patrick Clark, which will soon become one of the centerpieces of Tribute Park on Beach 116 Street and Beach Channel Drive. The park, which honors those Rockaway residents who died in the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001, is promised for this year’s anniversary.
