The disc features original tracks by notable writers such as Richard Marx, Desmond Child and Aldo Nova among others, as well as interpretations of popular favorites such as “Man of La Mancha,” and ”From A Distance.”
Although Ronan had a late start to his singing career, he has gained worldwide fame and admiration for both his work as a member of The Irish Tenors as well as in his recent ventures. Tynan’s tremendous voice is one that reaches far beyond most; his songs are as pleasing to the ear as much as they touch the heart. He has the ability to connect with audiences of all ages and promises to deliver an unforgettable evening. As Bono states, “When Ronan sings the clouds cry but the sun turns up sooner than it would have.”
Ronan has made a significant impact in his brief career, performing throughout the US at multiple momentous occasions with “Ave Maria” & “Amazing Grace” at the funeral of President Ronald Reagan, “New York, New York” to kickoff the Belmont Stakes in ’04 as well as performing at many benefits for those lost on 9/11. The unique comfort and understanding that are expressed in Ronan’s voice, comes from overcoming his own experiences with adversity. Born with a lower limb disability that eventually caused his legs to be amputated, he overcame vast obstacles and even went on to win numerous Paralympics medals.
Among Ronan’s other accomplishments, he has also earned a degree as a medical doctor from the prestigious Trinity College and keeps busy with a career as a motivational speaker as well. Although native to Ireland, Ronan has a unique connection with America and even considers New York his “home away from home.” The distinctive voice of the NY Yankees with an unforgettable rendition of “God Bless America,” Tynan evokes emotion and offers a stellar act.
