Annual Book Swap At Public School 106

Children attending P.S. 106 participated in the Annual Book Swap in which they trade previously read books with new titles for summer reading. Reading facilitator, Miriam Baum says, “This annual event, now in its 16th year at P.S. 106, is a cost free event and can be initiated in every school. The children are excited to walk around independently and choose the books they want to read. It’s like a shopping spree for them that doesn’t cost a penny.”
