PHC Receives Letter of Accreditation

Peter Galvin, M.D., Chief Medical Officer, Linda Dascher, R.N., V.P. Performance Improvement /Quality Management and Allen Corby, V.P. Operations, review the official Letter of Accreditation from the Joint Commission advising that PHC and PCECR satisfactorily met the Joint Commission Standards after a recent inspection. The Joint Commission is an independent, not-for-profit organization established more than 50 years ago, which reviews the quality and safety of care for more than 15,000 health care organizations. The Joint Commission sets the standards by which health care quality is measured in America and around the world. To maintain and earn accreditation, organizations must have an extensive on-site review by a team of Joint Commission health care professionals at least once every three years.
