Rockaway’s Jill Brady scored 21 points in Bishop Kearney’s 63-45 win over St. Francis Prep last Wednesday in the CHSAA Division I playoffs. Brady scored 12 of her 21 points in the second quarter to give BK a 30-17 halftime lead.

The Tigers (13-12) advanced to the CHSAA Division I playoff semifinals against Christ the King at press time.

The Tigers will also play in the N.Y. State Federation Class B Tournament on March 10 at the College of Staten Island at 5:15 p.m.

Stella Maris defeated St. Saviour 63-29 in the first round of the CHSAA Division II playoffs last Wednesday. Caroline Weeks scored 11 to lead the Flippers and MaryGrace Brady added 9 points. As of press time, Stella Maris will play St. Edmund’s in the second round. If the Flippers win, they will play at St. John’s University on Saturday at 3 p.m.
