  • On a sunny and unusually hot May morning last Saturday, Councilman James Sanders, Jr.’s Youth Congress of the Rockaways held its first plant and seed at the Madison Square Boys and Girls Club on Beach 41 Street.
  • “The Youth Congress is going to be going around the neighborhood planting seeds,” Eddie Jackson, the leader for the Youth Congress, told The Wave. Jackson’s company E.A.J. Entertainment and Promotions provided the flowers that were planted in front of the building’s mural.
