News Channel View School For Research News

The Channel View School for Research has introduced a new way to conduct Parent Teacher Association monthly meetings and celebrate family and community at the same time. So far, the “Family Cultural Nights” have included potluck dinners, board game tournaments, demonstrations from the Cadawan Martial Arts School and trivia tournaments. Breaking out the board games are, left to right: Martin Robinson, Nathaniel Jean-Pierre, Malcolm Robinson, Chris Frey and Justin Frey.

Channel View School for Research Principal Pat Tubridy and members of her teaching staff attended the New Schools Initiative weekend retreat on April 22-23 in Manhattan, where they had the opportunity to enjoy lunch and informal discussion with New York City Schools Chancellor Joel Klein.
