It’s 1952 And Father Burke Marches With His Band


Monsignor William Burke, who passed away last week, founded the St. Camillus Band, a group that became nationally famous for its performances at sports events and in the Miami (Florida) Orange Bowl Parade. The Wave found this Picture in the Rockaway Museum of the 1952 Memorial Day Parade in Rockaway.
