Senior Citizen Jack Domfort has been a Rockaway resident for more than 50 years. About six years ago, his wife, Phyllis, convinced him that he needed a hobby and suggested painting. Domfort said that he worked with Walter Gurbo for some time and then switched to Geoff Rawling, the president of the Rockaway Artists Alliance. “That’s when I reached my potential,” he said.
