The fourth grade students of St. Agnes Seminary in Brooklyn recently met city officials and observed government in action at City Hall. Mayor Michael Bloomberg welcomed the class at the entrance to City Hall and City Council Speaker Gifford Miller and Brooklyn Councilman Michael Nelson greeted the students after a press conference.

The students, who have been studying New York State history, got a first hand look at how city government works.
