Informational Picketing At Local Schools

Teachers, who have been without a contract for more than two years, formed picket lines prior to school on Wednesday to inform parents and other about their demands and their plight. Chanting, blowing whistles and bearing signs that said, “Education on the De-Klein,” and “2 Years, 2 Long, 4 Kids,” the teachers provided their information for fifteen minutes and then went into the school buildings to get ready for the school day. Pictured, teachers at MS 180 provide information to passers-by and motorists on Beach Channel Drive and Beach 103 Street.
