This photo was marked as being from The Raunt station in the late 1930’s, but a scan with a strong magnifying or engraver’s glass reveals the outline of the Grassy Bay in the extreme background. That would make this a view of the dilapidated Goose Creek station that was located to the north of The Raunt. Some of the walks going to the right and left seem to be in excellent condition and there is a gentleman on the end of the right or westbound platform that looks like the official greeter for a fishing station. But he is well dressed and most likely on his way to work in the city.
