The Rockaway Chamber of Commerce is polling people on Beach 116 Street, and parts of Rockaway Beach Boulevard and Beach Channel Drive to find out what kinds of improvements are needed in the west end’s business area.

Chamber Executive Director Joanie Omeste and Assemblywoman Audrey Pheffer toured that area last Thursday to pass out Rockaway Park District Needs Surveys that asks residents, businesspeople and property owners about a variety of subjects including the availability of services, marketing, quality of life issues and capital projects needed in Rockaway Park.
