Sonics vs. Dolphins at P.S. 105

School officials at PS 105 are offering congratulations to the P.S. 105 and Scholars’ Academy Sonics as they defeated the P.S. 225 Dolphins in an exciting basketball game that had everyone cheering. With this victory on Thursday, April 7 at P.S. 105, the Sonics continue their 3 and 0 winning streak. According to those at the game, it was a nail-biting event, but both teams demonstrated excellent teamwork. Jim Long, the P.S. 105 physical education teacher, helped to provide a safe and fair contest by serving as referee. The Sonics were lead by Larry Brand, the team captain, who scored 16 points. Craig Barker finished with 10 points and 5 rebounds. Ricardo Brown also finished the game with 8 points and 4 rebounds. Our sixth grade cheerleading squad, led by Alla Nesmith, our school parent coordinator, performed an exciting event during half-time, that all participants enjoyed!
