Kearney Community Gives Blood
Members of the Kearney community recently took part in a blood drive conducted by the Maimonides Medical Center Donor Program. Faculty members, along with juniors and seniors over the age of 17, donated 72 pints of blood for those who will need it in the near future.
Christine Clark, a 1989 graduate of Kearney and coordinator of Maimonides’ program, said, “It was a pleasure to come back to Kearney and work with such a generous group of faculty and young women.”
Senior Nastassia Sanchez is pictured donating blood with her classmates Ericka Commitante and Amanda Maffeo. Coordinator Clark is on the left.
