The members of the team are: Jessie Jamin, Siobhan Sammon, Lauren Malloy, Tara Muoio, Kasey Robertson, Summer Colleran, Vickie Owens,Tara Burke, Cindy Henderson, Elizabeth Cardinale, Kristen Corral. Missing from the game was Emily Dripchak. I would like to congratulate the Pee Wee girls for winning the 2005 Diocesan championship in basketball. These girls showed what hard work and determination could do. St. Thomas More played St. Mary Winfield on February 27 th at Our Lady of Hope in Middle Village. They have faced Mary Winfield many times in the past two years and have lost each time.

The game started with St. Mary Winfield taking the lead. Going into the second half St. Thomas More was down by 8 points. The girls under the guidance of Jeanne Jamin and Mike Sammon took the lead by one point in the third quarter.

Things were very tense in the gym with each shot, whistle, and free throw.

St. Thomas More won the game with a score of 19-17. This was a major upset in the world of Pee Wee basketball. I think that they played a great defensive game and a good offensive game.
