Luft Pictures Reveal FRHS Of 1940’s, 50’s

The large treasure trove of pictures and memorabilia that once belonged to long-time Far Rockaway High School Athletic Director Harry Luft, continues to amaze both those at the Rockaway Museum, who are readying the facility for a FRHS exhibit as well as the editors of The Wave. These two pictures are uncommon in that they are undated. Is there anybody out there who can identify the students? The first picture looks as if it were taken during World War II or shortly thereafter. It is obviously Luft, at right, with his office staff. The large treasure trove of pictures and memorabilia that once belonged to long-time Far Rockaway High School Athletic Director Harry Luft, continues to amaze both those at the Rockaway Museum, who are readying the facility for a FRHS exhibit as well as the editors of The Wave.
