SJEH Appoints Topolewski As CEO

St. John’s Episcopal Hospital, South Shore, has announced the appointment of Theodore Topolewski, CPA, to the position of Chief Operating Officer.

As Chief Operating Officer, Topolewski is responsible for many of the operational functions at St. John’s, including engineering and facility management.

Topolewski has more than 27 years of experience in financial and operational consulting and public accounting in the healthcare industry. He is a specialist in financial planning, capital and operational budgeting, and revenue cycle management and previously held the position of Chief Operating Officer at New York United Hospital

Medical Center.

He earned a bachelor of science degree in accounting from St. Peter’s College, Jersey City, NJ and a master’s degree in public administration from New York University as well as a master’s degree in business administration from Farleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, NJ.
