Brownies Use Cookie Money For Tsunami Relief

The Brownies of Troop 4040 of Belle Harbor have once again opened their hearts to others. They recently sold many boxes of Girl Scout cookies and raised $513.55 for their troop. They decided to donate this money to the Bush-Clinton Fund, which provides relief to those affected by the devastation of the tsunami in Southeast Asia.  In addition, Troop 4040 has done many wonderful deeds for the Rockaway community including preparing care packages for local nursing homes, sending get well cards and packages to friends in the community and sending care packages to the US troops in Iraq.
