Stabbed In Face, Chest In Lovers Triangle

A clash between two 25-year-old men over a girl last Saturday evening in Arverne left one of the men with multiple stab wounds to his face and chest, police said.

The victim, identified as St. Bernard Kenson, of 468 Beach 63 Street, was just steps from his home when the confrontation and brutal attack happened. Police said a knife was used to inflict the slash wounds, but a description of the un-recovered weapon was not available. Police responded to a 911 call for help at about 6:30 p.m., and arrived to find Kenson soaked with his own blood. He was transported to Jamaica Hospital, and police said he is expected to recover. The woman was not identified, but police said the violence erupted between the two men, who were competing for her affection.

Cops in the 100 Precinct are on the lookout for a Bronx man, Ricky Morales, who already has a history with the police in Rockaway, a source said. They asked for anyone with information to call the 100 Precinct Detective Squad at (718) 318-4200.
