Channel View Students Show Their Stuff

Channel View Academy 6th Graders presented a gallery of their work last week to show what they learned during the first half of the school year. Students from four different classes developed presentations and colorful, exciting displays – directly related to their coursework – and presented to their teachers, peers and parents. The Grades 7, 8 and 9 will follow suit in June. “We want to engage the students. You can see how excited they get,” said Principal Pat Tubridy, second from left, who thanked Region 5 for its support of the new school. Also shown here: Channel View Teacher Laura Dimino, left, tells a group of students how the presentations will proceed.
