Chan To Donate 2K To Tsunami Relief

City Council Member Joseph P. Addabbo, Jr. has announced that on Sunday, January 30, at 12 p.m., Howard Beach business owner Danny Chan, who owns Danny’s Szechuan Garden, 164-14 Cross Bay Boulevard, will deliver a check to the Red Cross in the amount of in the amount of more than two thousand dollars to aid the victims of the Tsunami disaster in East Asia.

The donation, which will be presented at the restaurant, is a portion of the receipts from Danny’s on Wednesday, January 19, 2005.

“I wanted to contribute to the relief effort and to show that the community of Howard Beach cares as well,” said Chan. “I appreciate the efforts of Danny Chan and all those who have donated toward the Tsunami victims,” said Addabbo.
