SJEH Honors First Baby Of The Year

The first baby born in the New Year at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital, South Shore, was 6 lbs., 9 oz., Izaiah Amir King. Baby Izaiah, shown resting comfortably in the arms of his mother, Sarai Santana, was born at 3:20 am on Saturday, January 1, 2005. Santana, a Brooklyn resident, was attending a party in Far Rockaway when contractions began. Young Izaiah is the first baby born in St. John’s Centennial Year and received a gift basket chock-full of baby accessories from St. John’s

Nursing Department.
