Members of the council recently replaced the crèche and figurines on the Beach 116 Street holiday display. The scene was lost more than ten years ago in a noreaster and was reintroduced Sunday, December 19, by Jim Hurley, Gerard Lawless and Ed McGinn.
Members erected a sign in front of the council with the words “Keep Christ in Christmas.”
All the attending members brought gifts for the Council’s annual hospital visit to St. John’s Episcopal and Peninsula Hospital’s pediatric units.
The Council’s Christmas party was held on Friday, December 17.
