Collins Christmas Eve Dinner

The Crystal Lee Collins Foundation For Youth Development (CLCFYD), founded in 1999, is geared towards helping youths who are at risk of dropping out of school. The foundation also provides HIV outreach, job readiness programs and a crisis intervention unit, which discourages violence.

One of the chief sponsors of CLCFYD is the New York Venom, a semi-professional football team founded in 2004 and based in Far Rockaway. The team is now looking for football players, coaches and cheerleaders.

On Christmas Eve, the Venom and the CLCFYD, will celebrate the life of Crystal Lee Collins with a dinner at the Madison Boys and Girls Club on Beach 39 Street and Beach Channel Drive at 11 a.m. All are welcome.
