Watchdogs, Starz Labor Day Big Brother Picnic

The Far Rockaway Watchdogs, the Southern Queens Men’s Tackle Football team and the Da Rock All Starz will be organizing their Annual Big Brother Day Picnic and Basketball Game. The Labor Day “Big Brother” Picnic will take place on Saturday, September 4 at 4 p.m. at Bayswater Park on 36 Street and Beach Channel Drive.

The Watchdogs and All Starz, an organized motorcycle club in the Rockaways, are organizing a big brother program for the young people in the peninsula. The event will have games, raffle, prizes, fun, food, music and a motorcycle show. The Quentin B. Johnson Memorial Basketball Game will feature the NYPD Transit District 33 basketball team, who has graciously donated their time for the event, against the Far Rockaway Watchdogs Basketball Team.

The community is welcome to support the program and make the event a complete success. The suggested donation is $10 and all children are admitted for free. For more information, contact 718-471-2311. Come join us and have a great time!
