Kearney Students Excel In Latin

Ninety Kearney students received awards for outstanding performance in this year’s National Latin Examination. With more than 145,000 students participating nationally, Kearney students did very well. Caterina Bosetti scored a perfect paper, while 15 other students received gold summa cum laude certificates and medals. Kearney students are pictured with Sister Rosemarie Baglivio, CSJ, assistant principal, left and Sister Thomasine Stagnitta, CSJ, Kearney’s principal to her right. In the second row, Latin teacher Lucille Young is pictured with language department chairperson Christine Wisniewski.
