Far Rockaway Benefits And Information Fair

The Coalition for Far Rockaway’s Women’s Economic Empowerment Committee is hosting a “Far Rockaway Benefits and Information Fair” on Wednesday, August 18 at the Beach Club on Beach 116 Street between 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The exhibitors include Accion New York, Catholic Charities, Caribbean Women’s Health Association, Child Health Plus, Jewish Community Council of the Rockaway Peninsula Food Stamp Program, Jewish Community Relations Council of New York, Joseph P. Addabbo Family Health Center, MTA Outreach and Information, Queens Borough Public Library, Queens Legal Services Corporation, Rockaway Development and Revitalization Corporation and the Social Security Administration.

The fair is open to community residents, executives, professionals and staff from community and faith-based organizations, health care providers, social service agencies, schools, and government offices who would like to network and to learn about services and resources that are available in the community.
