The shutter pops to catch Celebs at 2004, NYC event stops.. (Photos please) taken by Tom Gallagher.

In 2004 justice was done when Scott Peterson lost his court run for killing his wife and son. Michael Jackson, still must face the court and jury for fondling tots which brings out our fury. Kobe Bryant made a slam-dunk and raised his score when accuser backed down to say, “No more.” Martha Stewart will soon complete her crime conviction to find a better bountiful good thing. That’s my prediction. If not terror, tidal waves or the Iraq war gives us enough strife, lets hope and pray our faith will keep us alive as we arrive at the year 2005. HAPPY, HEALTHY AND PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR TO ALL

Alexis Vigilante of Reid Ave, was feted for her 21st birthday by Mom, Fran DeCuollo; brother Nick Decuollo; grandmother Mary Rabias; aunt and uncle Katina and Nick Decuollo, and Paul Bonzo. Congratulations!

Hope you all had as Merry a Christmas as I had...Not one, but two dinners in two of the most beautiful homes in Breezy Point; the John and Patty Crowley Mediterranean Mansion and the Danzilo’s Pink Palace, both beautifully decorated to welcome their family and friends. At Patty’s: mother-in-law Gladys Crowley; sister-in-law Caryn Fata; brother Donald Riter and his adorable cutie pie Casey Salica; sister Maureen and her two sons. At Helene and Peter Danzilo’s: Christine, Maria and Richard Lehv and their daughter, Hollis and twins, Clara and Peter; other sister, Lainie and husband Richard, Father Frank from New Jersey; Peret and husband and their handsome baby boy. All warm and gracious guests and all so accommodating to sing the birthday song to me. Thank you all.

Sunday mass was a joy as well, as I joined Helene, Christine and Father Frank for mass at St. Gertrude’s where we ran into Grace McCloskey who told us of her 92 year old mother Teresa’s illness and that she was in Peninsula General Hospital. Her roommate is Mary Laffan, laid up from a broken hip and elbow as a result of a fall. Sorry to hear of their misfortune. I am sure a few prayers will help them. And pray for their loved ones also.

As we look at the tragedies befalling the world, especially those caught in the tidal waves in Phuket and India and the great devastation in that part of the world, how thankful we should feel for all our blessings. Thank you, God, but help the poor souls in their great need.

On the lighter side…There is a new men’s “brief” on the market launched at Bloomingdale’s called CN 1 “Make it Brief” designed by Scot Suvello which does for men what the wonder bra does for women. Designed originally for bathing trunks but, because of demand, Suvello put his ingenious implant into briefs. You don’t have to remove them after four hours and they will not cause strokes or heart attacks. Not hazardous to the health at all except to only cause  intriguing looks. This item should reap many rewards!

TRAVEL: Special fares on the QM2 for Jan. and Feb. sailings. Cancun, one week, Air/Land $799,11 days to Egypt, Nile cruise and Tours $1,399. A&K offers Europe and the Mediterranean journey by Private Jet for 2005.

A good New Year to all. Stay healthy and alive through 2005!
