Time Warner Cable To Offer ‘On Demand’ Programming
Time Warner Cable of New York and New Jersey will introduce DTV On Demand, free On Demand programming beginning January 5, which includes programming from BBC America, AOL Music, CNN, HGTV, Golf Channel, A&E Networks, G4techTV, Comedy Central, DIY, Food Network and Court TV.
DTV On Demand is available free of charge beginning January 5, to Time Warner Cable digital customers in Manhattan, Queens, Staten Island, Brooklyn and Mt. Vernon, NY and Bergen and Hudson Counties, NJ. Customers in Orange, Sullivan, Ulster, Dutchess, Greene and Delaware Counties can access DTV On Demand shortly thereafter.

A&E On Demand features popular programming from A&E, as well as Biography Channel and The History Channel. A&E On Demand will be available on channel 1010.
AOL Music On Demand provides access to a comprehensive library of today’s most popular music videos, the best of AOL for Broadband’s music content, original in-studio AOL Music Sessions and performances from the popular AOL Music Live weekly concert series. AOL Music On Demand will be available on channel 1002.
BBC America On Demand provides access to popular programming from BBC America such as episodes of “Changing Rooms,” “Ground Force,” “Keeping Up Appearances” and “Absolutely Fabulous” and will be available on channel 1011.
CNN Showcase On Demand highlights popular programming from CNN including “Crossfire” and “Larry King Live” and is available on channel 1012.
Comedy Central On Demand features popular programming from Comedy Central, including episodes of “South Park” and “Crank Yankers”. Comedy Central On Demand will be available on channel 1005.
Court TV On Demand , channel 1013, offers the best of its investigative reporting, riveting dramas, documentaries and high-tech forensic science programming.
DIY On Demand includes categories such as home design, home improvement, woodworking, digital photography and gardening and can be viewed on channel 1007.
Food Network on Demand includes simple as well as elegant recipes created by some of the world’s most popular chefs including Emeril Lagasse, Wolfgang Puck and Bobby Flay. Food Network On Demand, channel 1006, will also include highlights from hit shows such as “Essence of Emeril,” with On Demand categories including Quick & Easy.
G4techTV On Demand features categories such as “Help & How-to,” “Products & Reviews,” “Games & Anime” and “Documentaries & News Specials” and will be available on channel 1004.
Golf Channel On Demand , channel 1009, includes profiles, specials, instructions, and classic golf footage.
HGTV ON Demand features the latest in decorating, building, gardening, and home makeovers. Home tours, holiday ideas, quilting, sewing and dozens of other subjects will also be included on HGTV On Demand, on channel 1008.
Kids On Demand , available on channel 1003, provides a wide spectrum of children’s and family entertainment from a variety of programmers including PBS, BBC America, Cartoon Network and iN Demand.
Special Events On Demand, channel 1001, will feature unique and seasonal Video On Demand programming including sports, news, features and concerts.
