Rotary Menorah Lighting Ceremony

Like some biblical miracle, the rain stopped for a short time on Tuesday evening, allowing the Rockaway Rotary Club to hold its annual Menorah Lighting Ceremony at Beach 116 Street and Rockaway Beach Boulevard. Pictured, Rotary members Mark Dana, Eric Matza, Sanford Bernstein, Dan Mirkin and Harold Graham wait for the ceremony to begin. The Beach Club set up the canopy and provided hot chocolate and cookies while Brown’s Hardware provided Chanukah Gelt to the kids in the crowd.
