West End Temple Kids Decorate Sukkah

During the holiday of Sukkoth, Jewish families eat their meals in a open Sukkah, commemorating the time in the Biblical age when Jews wandered in the desert. On Sunday, September 26, children from West End Temple came together to decorate the temple’s traditional Sukkah. Sukkoth celebrates the harvest season with traditional meals eaten under the stars. Sukkah’s must have at least three sides and the roof must allow the sky to be seen.
