Two Local Sites Set For Voter Registration
The New York City Board of Elections has announced that it will be conducting two days of local voter registration at sites in all five boroughs to register voters for the November 2 General Election.
On Tuesday, October 5 and Saturday, October 9, between the hours of 1 p.m.-9 p.m., the Board will open selected poll sites throughout the city for persons who have not yet registered to vote and wish to do so.
There will be two sites on the Rockaway peninsula available for voter registration on those days.
They are MS 53, at 10-45 Nameoke Street in Far Rockaway and PS 114, at 134-09 Cronston Avenue in Belle Harbor.
New York State Election Law requires The New York City Board of Elections conduct local voter registration in every Presidential Election year.
