Street Namings Span The Weekend

Last weekend was a time to remember those who died in the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center more than three years ago. There were two street naming ceremonies on Saturday – for former police officer and firefighter Terence McShane and for Lisa King-Johnson – and another on Sunday, for firefighter Richie Allen. Pictured, a large American Flag flies from the Ladder 137 rig on Beach 91 Street for the Richie Allen street naming ceremony. See other pictures on pages 26, 30 and 32.
