Erin On The Rox

By Erin Baumann

Mardi Gras 2004 is already three weeks behind us; I hope that everyone had a great weekend. All the summer people are gone, but we’ll see them real soon. The warm weather will be back before you know it and Memorial Day will be here.

On September 11 the Breezy Point Community recognized all of those that we lost. An outdoor mass was said at the Breezy memorial including the saying of all the names that were lost that day. The Breezy Point Bagpipe band ended the mass with a few songs, most notably, “Amazing Grace” and “God Bless America”.

The Annual Saint Genevieve’s Block Party, also known as the Pig Roast (without the pig) was held on September 18. Some of the party stayed inside because of the rainy weather, but everyone had a great time.

Happy Birthday Wishes to, Victoria Fernandez ~ September 11, Happy 21st Birthday John Fahy ~ September 11, Happy Anniversary to my Mom and Dad, 28 years on September 18, and finally Get Well Wishes to Mrs. Ferrandino.

Take Care,
