The Far Rockaway Watchdog’s and The Rock All Starz held their annual Big Brother Day Picnic and Quentin B Johnson Memorial Basketball Game. All had a good time.

The mixture of adults, kids, cyclist, and football players was a direct reflection of the athletic prowess of the residents of the Rockaway’s. All attendees were in the company of colorful motorcycles, Far Rockaway Watchdog Football Players, and members of New York’s Finest. Young people were allowed to try and learn about All Terrain Vehicles, scooters, and dirt bikes.

While eating and listening to music everyone got all of their football questioned answered and shared football stories with the Watchdog’s players and staff. On the main lawn, there was an impromptu football clinic and throw around.

The climax of the event was the Basketball game, dedicated to Quentin B Johnson 1984 – 1999 and avid basketball player and athlete from Brooklyn, New York. A serious game of b-ball took place in the courts and all players did well.

The Rock All Starz and the Far Rockaway Watchdog’s would like to thank all who made the event a success. They invite the community to participate in all of their events. Feel free to visit Da Rock All Starz on the web at www.darockalstarz.com or call the Watchdogs at 718 471-2311.
