A Local Comment On Beach Rules

Dan Creighton was taking an early morning stroll along the boardwalk over the Labor Day weekend, and happened upon a trash receptacle that was holding a section of the beach rules sign, which had been posted on a nearby pole. “I guess the message is clear. Summer is over - so let’s trash the rules,” Creighton says. Looking toward the beach and surf, he could clearly see half a dozen dogs running free with their “owners” beyond. He warns that, if you are one of those who likes to continue to bask in the sun, walk carefully as you might happen upon a gift from Fido.
