Cornell’s Painting In Prestigious Competition


Rockaway resident Arlene Cornell has had her painting, “South Sixth Street” accepted for the 108th Annual Catherine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club Juried Exhibition. The show will run from October 2-29 at the National Arts Club in Manhattan.
Cornell, whose work can also be viewed at her studio in Rockaway, will be exhibiting her newest paintings at the Rockaway Music and Arts Council Fall Festival on Saturday and Sunday, September 11-12, at Fort Tilden from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
